GENERAL INFORMATION:
I’m offering to share the house where I presently live, offering the 2 single rooms available. This means 3 people tops (including me) will be living in the house. It’s a very typical 3 bedrooms flat on a 1rst Floor, right in the Centre of the historical area (Bairro Alto).
It has just been painted and had some other wok done, plus the new furnishing, which I hope you'll find tasteful enough.

THE HOUSE HAS:
- One Living/Dinning Room with much light that opens to a typical Lisbon balcony
- One Complete Bathroom (shared)
- Kitchen (equiped with stove, washing machine, refrigerator, microwave and some other minor appliances)

ABOUT THE ROOM:
Fully furnished single bedroom (single bed, bedside table, wardrobe, bookshelves, desk, chair, extra sofa-bed, most stuff brand new).
The window is small and turns to an interior patio (not accessible to us), which makes it airy, with some natural sunlight in the day and rather quiet at night.

LOCATION:
- it's in Bairro Alto, known for night life, designer stores and otherwise culturally alternative nightlife styles
- Bairro Alto is also a little village inside a big city, with families that have lived there for ages (like mine) and where you can still know your neighbours and say hello to people you meet everyday on the street
- It's in a quiet small street, one with no pubs (and the same street as the Music Conservatory/School – with adult amateur choir for those interested)
WALKING DISTANCE FROM:
- theatres, caffee's and other cultural spots (5-10 min)
- botanical garden (5 min)
- commercial areas (2-5 min)
- several other places of interest
- 2 subway stations: blue and green lines (2-5 min), yellow line (5-10 min)
- several buses (2-10 min)
- 2 different train lines: to Cascais and Sintra (10 min)
- River / Ferrys (10 min)
- 50 meters from the police station
- 2 min to cheap supermarket
- 5 min drive to hospital

HOUSE RULES:
- no smoking indoors, but in the living room balcony is fine
- Cleaning of common areas is shared between the residents (but the house is very easy to maintain, really!)
- there can be occasional guests, staying over, as long as the other parties in the house are informed and within reasonable limits
- being nice to the elderly neighbours... :)
- other common ground rules may be set later between residents

ABOUT ME:
I’m a 32y psychologist/trainer (sessions not included in the room value) who enjoys people, culture and diversity. I’m very tiddy, easy-going and like to keep things simple, prejudice-free and believe as much in each being responsible for him/herself as I do in mutual respect and in being upfront about things.
I grew up in this neighborhood so I can help with most things you may need to know or find, in any field, from cultural events to ER assistance (hopefully the last wont be necessary).
Also I’d like to know a bit about whoever is interested in sharing the flat with me.
